To take bicycles on metro, they should be disassembled and packed (except for children's and folding bicycles, as well as children's chairs and wheelchairs). To disassemble the cycle, remove the front wheel and turn the steering wheel 90 degrees. Put the cycle parts into a bag or case to avoid staining other passengers.

Total length, width and height of the disassembled bike should not exceed 150 centimeters — then it can be taken free of charge. Otherwise, you will have to buy a bicycle ticket. Once inside, place your bike on a wide platform opposite the doors.

The rules for taking bicycles on metro also apply to monorails. One bicycle is allowed to be taken free of charge in a MCC car. In this case the bike should not be disassembled, just fix it using special fasteners.

You can also take your bicycle on MCD for free throughout the day, without disassembling it. In this case, take a free ticket at the ticket office or automated ticket machine at an MCD station.
